It doesn't matter what dxdiag utility reports, if gPhotoShow gives that message it means at least one file is missing. This is normal (on a brand new computer too) because even if DirectX are already installed with Window 7 or Vista some key files are missing and Microsoft doesn't allow to distribute these files alone, the only solution is to download and run the DirectX web installer.
